Our Mission started in the Mission field

 You might think Butler Travel was born on a cruise ship or a white sand beach somewhere. Not quite. In 1995, you would have met our founders working as missionaries in Africa serving the people of Tanzania. And no, there weren’t resort beaches, but yes it was sandy.

When the Butlers came home, they realized that people wanted to serve overseas, but arranging international travel was expensive, stressful, and labor intensive. So they set out on their new mission—advising travel purchases, stretching each missionary’s dollar, and making the experience stress-free. In 2023, Nicolas and Joy Owens took over the company with plans keep the mission but expand to other areas of travel. 

Now, Butler Travel is a full service travel agency. Our travel consultants serve groups or individuals and plan vacations, flights, tours and cruises domestically and internationally.
