Educational Tours FAQ

How do I start planning a trip?

Submit a booking request or schedule a free travel consultation. We’ll get to know your school’s goals, group size, budget, and timeline before putting together personalized trip options for you to review and approve.

What is the minimum group size?

We can accommodate groups of various sizes. Contact us and we’ll let you know what works best for your destination of choice.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend starting the planning process at least 6–12 months before your intended travel date, especially for international destinations. This allows adequate time for itinerary approval, payment collection, and any required travel documents.

Can the itinerary be customized?

Absolutely. Every Butler Travel tour is built around your school’s curriculum, faith values, and student needs — nothing is one-size-fits-all.

What’s included in the trip cost?

Every trip is custom-quoted based on your group size, destination, and preferences. Quotes typically include flights, accommodations, ground transportation, guided activities, and our service fee. Trip costs vary widely — use our free Trip Planning Tools to get a realistic estimate before you commit to anything.

Are chaperones and teachers included in the pricing?

Yes, chaperone and teacher arrangements are factored into your custom quote.

What happens if a student needs to cancel?

Cancellation policies vary by vendor and destination. We’ll walk you through the specific terms for your trip during the planning process so there are no surprises.
